The site of the HASAG-Pelcery slave labour camp (munitions factory) was marked with a magnificant plaque to mark the significance of this place where many of our ancestors were held prisoner.

The Jewish Cemetery Today

The Częstochowa Jewish Cemetery dates back to the late 18th Century. It is the third largest Jewish cemetery in Poland, containing around 4,500 graves in about 8.5 hectares. The last burial here took place in 1973.
