For the final event of our Third Reunion, participants were invited to hear world-class violinist, Joshua Bell, play his Stradivarius violin at the Częstochowa Philharmonic Hall – once the site of the New Synagogue.

The Jewish Cemetery Today

The Częstochowa Jewish Cemetery dates back to the late 18th Century. It is the third largest Jewish cemetery in Poland, containing around 4,500 graves in about 8.5 hectares. The last burial here took place in 1973.
