The finale to our Reunion brings us to the home of the Częstochowa Philharmonic Orchestra – better known to us as the New Synagogue. Second Generation landsleit and world-class concert violinist, Daniel Broniatowski, was the surprise highlight of the programme.

The Jewish Cemetery Today

The Częstochowa Jewish Cemetery dates back to the late 18th Century. It is the third largest Jewish cemetery in Poland, containing around 4,500 graves in about 8.5 hectares. The last burial here took place in 1973.
